I met Hailey and Derick as I planned an offsite meeting for my medical leadership team. From initial planning discussions thru onsite speaking, they both helped me create a high impact and memorable experience. Their openness to integrate Paralympic and Olympic level athletics with key business principles was special. They worked with me to plan out the session, listened carefully to what I hoped to achieve, and made sure they were prepared to execute when meeting our team. Derick as the Paralympic team’s coach gave us many themes from which he could weave a story and met with me to select those where elite athletics could be compared easily to the business world. Derick is skillful and brought out ideas and enhanced his themes weaving together a very memorable and powerful story that our team still speaks about. Derick engaged our audience, leaving everyone intrigued and educated on the realities of high performing athletes. Hailey spoke with our team and engaged us with insightful questions to ensure she understood the work we do. She shared stories of the discipline of being a trusted team member, and the related realities and challenges. Her messages about putting in the work and being a reliable teammate really inspired the team. She even took pictures with her medals with anyone who wanted a picture with a Gold Medalist! Derick and Hailey are a powerhouse team. They shared the strength of their bond, and very effectively connected the player-coach relationship to realities in our business.
